Sassy, you're a lifesaver!
The most awesome bib made by Sassy. It's made of waterproof plastic with a soft terry cotton backing and around the neck (cute prints are underneath the top layer). And it's got an awesome crumb/spill/bottle leak catcher tray! Cleanup is such a cinch b/c you can just remove the tray and rinse it clean or put in the top rack of the dishwasher! Then just sponge off the bib and let it air dry. After a few days I toss it in the wash (machine safe!) and use my backup one. This bib has been such a lifesaver for us. No more blobs of food falling onto Cole's lap or the highchair. No more daily stained cotton bibs and bits of food remnants getting in the wash, gross. And at $7 a pop, you can buy two like I did. We have the giraffe and tiger designs.
You can only buy it online but lots of etailers sell it. I recommend diapers.com b/c they ship it to you the very next day!

What's my name again??
It's come to my attention just how many nicknames I have for my little Cole.. The two we use the most are Colebug and (little) Peanut. And then there's Little Man, Stinkbug, Chunky Monkey, Munchkin, Butterball, Drooly-Julie and Smiley Cyrus :P

Not just another day at the park....
On Friday we went into Rittenhouse Square, one of our favorite spots in Philly. This time we didn't just sit at the park. We decided to give Rouge a try. Rouge is a parisian restaurant, with sidewalk seating overlooking Rittenhouse Park. We had an amazing meal for lunch.
The best part of the meal was hands down their Day Boat Sea Scallops. These scallops are pan seared to golden deliciousness, served with what they called a red wine and golden raisin reduction. Yummmmmm.
Truffle Parmesan Frites...these were amazing! Tall crispy pomme frites (fries) cooked in delicious truffle oil (which is mushroom..), topped with parmesan shavings.
